Invitation to the webinar: “Building an Effective Cybersecurity Center: Maturity Assessment and Continuous Improvement”

As part of the joint international grant project “AI-Driven Cybersecurity: Opportunities and Challenges” (in which the University of the Commission of National Education in Krakow and the Institute of Security and Computer Science are directly participating), SET University together with the Centre for International Cooperation at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv invite you to an industry webinar for students of computer science and cybersecurity and young professionals planning to start a career in this field.
Webinar title:
“Building an Effective Cybersecurity Center: Maturity Assessment and Continuous Improvement“
The speaker will be Mr. Michael Kropyva – AVP InfoSec (Assistant Vice President of Information Security) at SoftServe, an expert with over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity.
The aim of the meeting is to present a practical, interdisciplinary perspective on cyber defense and help young professionals understand career paths in cybersecurity. Participants will learn, among other things, how a Security Operations Center (SOC) operates in practice: building attack detection scenarios, responding to incidents, and utilizing automation tools.
The program includes: the SOC operating model, people–process–technology, maturity assessment approach, use case engineering and detection coverage (mapping to MITRE ATT&CK (Adversarial Tactics, Techniques, and Common Knowledge)), IR (Incident Response) workflow, metrics and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), automation and orchestration, and continuous improvement.
We invite you!
