§ 10
Education Quality Council for the field(s) (EQC)

1. EQC takes steps to ensure the quality of education in the field or fields of study by developing and implementing an internal education quality assurance system in the unit, consistent with the recommendations of the URdsJK, which is the superior body to the EQC.

9. Tasks EQC:
1) ensuring that the quality of education in the field of study is linked to the mission and strategy, tradition, experience and good practices of the University;
2) cooperation with representatives of the socio-economic environment in the field of: evaluation of the educational program and its consistency with the needs of the labor market;
3) a periodic review of the organization and implementation of the educational process, culminating in a report, the format and deadlines of which are specified by order of the Vice-Rector for Education. The EQC forwards the report to the unit director for remedial action and measures to improve the quality of education. The unit director is obligated to review the report and forward it to the Department of Teaching and Internships;
4) reviewing study programs along with syllabi (course cards), but without creating them;
5) reviewing the topics of diploma theses for first-cycle and second-cycle studies and uniform master’s theses.
