Małopolska Researchers’ Night 2026 at the Institute

On September 25, the 20th edition of the Małopolska Researchers’ Night took place, featuring numerous attractions prepared for participants by the Institute of Security and Informatics.

We expanded the scope of our activities for this year’s event. In collaboration with EduGo, we organized morning programming workshops for primary schools, while in the afternoon, the company conducted open programming sessions using Minecraft.

The afternoon portion of the main events was organized by the Student Computer Science Club. Participants could, among other things, send a message in Morse code, see how messages were encrypted in the pre-computer era, and tackle puzzles during an outdoor game. A specially prepared retro gaming room – where visitors could play classic titles from the 80s and 90s – also proved very popular.
