Collaboration with Cisco – NetAcad at our Institute

The Institute of Security and Computer Science cooperates with the global program Cisco Networking Academy, which offers professional courses in computer networks, cybersecurity, and programming. This gives students and faculty access to educational materials used worldwide. Course participants can earn international certificates, and top candidates can receive invitations to workshops and events organized by Cisco.

NetAcad course list and paths

1. „Introduction to Cybersecurity” – an introductory course designed for people who want to gain basic awareness of information security.  
2. „Cybersecurity Essentials” – a course that develops technical competencies in system security, networks, and cybersecurity. (Available in the NetAcad catalog)  
3. „Networking Essentials” – a course on the basics of computer networks for teachers so that they can effectively conduct classes on networks and IT infrastructure.  
4. „CCNA: Introduction to Networks / Switching & Routing / Enterprise Networking” – a path for staff who want to teach advanced networking subjects.  
5. „Python Essentials” – Python programming course, useful for teachers in conjunction with automation, networking, and security topics.
