The Institute of Security and Computer Science hosts the third edition of Hack4Krak

On May 23-24, the Institute of Security and Information Technology hosted participants in the third edition of the Hack4Krak tournament. This Capture the Flag (CTF) event, aimed at high school students, was conceived and created by young enthusiasts from the XXXI Secondary School. Their primary goal is to popularize knowledge of digital security among young people.
The event generated enormous interest, attracting over 100 participants who spent 30 hours intensively solving complex problems. The competition tasks tested participants’ skills in areas such as analytics, programming, network security, and OSINT (Open Source Intelligence).
The tournament offered more than just healthy competition and a great atmosphere for team-building. A key element of the event were the accompanying lectures, which allowed participants to gain a practical perspective on the IT industry. Two thematic lectures were held: “A Career in Cybersecurity” and “The Programmer Profession – Facts and Myths About the IT Industry.”
Congratulations to all participants who took up the challenge and tackled the challenges head-on. Special thanks go to the winners of this year’s tournament!
